Gossip Girl has revolved around a series of novels based towards teenagers. The group of girls in Gossip Girl live in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. These teenage girls do nothing but gossip, drink and do drugs, and deal with sexual related problems within the series. They attend a private single sex type school in the heart of the Manhattan which an unseen character watches over every minute of their lives and writes blogs about it.
